10:00	Planting a tree by the poet-laureate, the Cuban poet Nancy Morejón, in the "Park of Poetry" and a short reading.
11:15	Opening of the exhibition "The Poem/The Painting". ("Drim" hotel)
12:00	Press conference with the poet laureates: Nancy Morejón [Cuba] and Marianna Geide [Russian Federation]. (Piano Bar, "Drim" hotel)
13:00	Cocktail given by the Mayor of Struga in honour of the SPE participants. ("Drim" hotel patio)
17:00	Homage: 100 years of Leopold Sedar Senghor's birth. (Symposium Hall, "Drim" hotel)
19:00	Reception given by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia and the Festival Board for all the participants and guests of honour ("Drim" hotel terrace).
20:30	Official opening of the SPE 2006, in front of the "House of Poetry". Exhibition of books by the SPE participants and folk costumes from the vicinity of Struga, in the hall of the "House of Poetry".
21:00	"Poetic Meridians" - an international poetry reading in the "House of Poetry".

12:15	Coffee with the participants and the poet laureates. (Pink Hall, "Drim" hotel)
17:00	Presentation of The Poem / The Painting themed Macedonian poetry selection, and a reading. (Brothers Miladinov's House).
19:00	Presentation of the "Pleiades" edition and a reading by the poets published in it. (Courtyard of St. George' monastery)
21:00	An evening of contemporary Carribean poetry. (Head of the Drim River).
23:30	"Night Without Punctuation", Presentation of the anthology of the young poets-nominees for the "Struga Bridges" award; informal poetry reading and music (young poets). ("Pink Hall," Hotel Drim)

10:00	Unveiling of the bust of the poet Blaze Koneski (the Park of Poetry, in front of the "Drim" hotel)
12:00	Poetry Matinee, international poetry reading at the courtyard of the Monastery of Our Lady in Kalishta. (3 km away from Struga)
13:30	A cocktail reception given by the Minister of Culture for the participants (in the nearby hotel "Biser").
18:30 - 20:30	Sightseeing of the old city of Ohrid. (foreign participants).
19:00	Presentation of the "Miladinov Brothers' Award" to the best Macedonian poetry book published between two festivals and a reading. (Miladinov Brothers' House)
21:00	"Poetic Portrait"; an homage of the poet-laureate, Nancy Morejón, a short concert and a reading. (Cathedral Church of St. Sophia, Ohrid)
24:00	"Night Without Punctuation", poetry performance, an informal poetry reading and music by Sapho (France) and Risto Vrtev (Macedonia). ("Pink Hall" Hotel Drim)

10:00	Outing to the Monastery of St. Naum, by boat.
11:00	Departure to St. Naum by bus.
13:30 - 15:00	Picnic at the springs of the Crn Drim River.
15:30	In Vino Veritas: Presentation of the "Wine Poem Award".
16:00	Return to Struga by boat. (17:00 Return to Struga by bus.)
20:30	"Bridges", international poetry reading on the bridge of the Drim River. Presentation of the "Golden Wreath Award" to the poet laureate, Nancy Morejón, and of the "Struga Bridges Award" to Marianna Geide.

Poetry on the Road: Departure of the participants from Struga to Bitola, Strumica, Kichevo and Kumanovo.

13:00	Poetry Matinee; a cocktail given by the Mayor of Skopje. (Lake Matka)
21:00	International poetry reading in Skopje with poets departing the following day.
